Master Liu is a senior instructor member with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain. He has served as a judge at numerous martial arts competitions across the UK and is dedicated to preserving and passing on authentic Kung Fu Tai Chi. Master Liu began his martial arts training at the age of eight at a municipal amateur sports school, where he studied martial arts and boxing. At fifteen, he became a disciple of a student of the renowned Zhaobao Tai Chi master Hou Chunxiu and began his formal study of Zhaobao Tai Chi. He received comprehensive and systematic training in Zhaobao Tai Chi, including forms, push-hands, qinna (joint locking techniques), combat applications, and qigong. In 2005, he further studied Chen-style Tai Chi under a senior disciple of the famous Chen-style Tai Chi master Chen Xiaoxing. With more than 50 years of martial arts practice and over 30 years of teaching experience, Master Liu is highly respected by his students. His students and disciples have consistently achieved excellent results in the annual UK Tai Chi competitions.
